Чижевского, автор приходит к выводу, что предчувствие близкого конца "века сего" действительно было основной религиозной интуицией Гоголя. Жизнь и творчество писателя предстают в неожиданном ракурсе, как трагическое одиночество непонятого пророка. Ответ на вечный вопрос о тайне Гоголя автор напрямую связывает с другим вопросом - обабсолютной тайне "будущего века". |
